Emerging out of the vestiges of the World�s fair held in Paris in 1900 and built on the foundations of the *Giant Ferris Wheel of 1920, the Swiss Village is renowned not only by professionals but also by amateurs, as the Mecca of the Art Market of Paris. The Giant Ferris Wheel had a diameter of 100 meters. It was demolished in 1937 and today on its former location, stands the Swiss Village which houses antique dealers, decoraters and art galleries.
